The Blue Cross

Founded in 1897 as Our Dumb Friends League to care for working horses in Victorian London, the league launched The Blue Cross Fund in 1912 to care for horses during the Balkan War. The Oxfordshire-based charity now provides support for sick, injured and homeless pets across the UK.
