Diabetes UK

Science fiction writer H.G. Wells helped found The Diabetic Association in 1934, which became Diabetes UK in 2000. With 350 groups, the charity funds research and support for the UK’s 4.5m diabetics, including holidays for children and families. Recent initiatives include closer work with Kidney Research UK.
