Action on Hearing Loss

Known as the Royal National Institute for Deaf People until a name change in 2011, Action on Hearing Loss was founded in 1910 and since then has helped make a difference to the lives of people with hearing loss with campaigns such as successfully lobbying for free hearing aids on the NHS in 1948. Today it continues to help find solutions, as well as cures, for hearing loss.
